How It Works
Three simple steps to clean air and peace of mind.
We measure your home (first visit is just $29)
You don't need to know your filter sizes or climb to check. We find your air handlers, record the exact filter sizes and your fridge model, and replace up to 2 standard filters on the spot.
We come back every 3 months
Visits are on Saturdays and some weekday evenings, at the same time each quarter. We email you a reminder the day before, and your online account shows what's planned, what we did, and anything we noticed.
We do the dirty work (about 30–40 minutes)
We put on shoe covers, climb the ladder, and install fresh filters. Then we work through that season's checklist, like flushing your AC drain line in spring or shutting off outdoor faucets in fall, and let you know if anything needs a licensed professional.

Basic Air
For homes with one heating & cooling system
- Up to 2 standard 1" pleated filters (MERV 8–11) replaced every visit
- Return vents vacuumed & wiped every visit
- AC condensate drain line flushed every spring (prevents ceiling leaks)
- Outdoor AC unit gently rinsed each spring
- All ladder work included; old filters hauled away
Pure Home
Filters + fridge + alarms + seasonal home care
- Everything in Basic Air
- Fridge water filter every 6 months (NSF-certified) and coils cleaned once a year
- Smoke & CO alarms tested every visit; alarm and thermostat batteries replaced yearly; expiration dates checked
- Outdoor faucets shut off for winter and turned back on in spring (prevents frozen pipes)
- Dryer lint trap housing cleaned once a year
- Sump pump tested each spring (if you have one)
- Up to 3 hard-to-reach light bulbs changed each visit (you provide the bulbs)
Total Care
For larger homes with 2 systems or thick media filters
- Everything in Pure Home
- Covers up to 2 heating & cooling systems (up to 4 standard filters every visit)
- Thick 4–5" media filters replaced every 6 months
- Whole-house humidifier pad replaced once a year
- Under-sink & RO water filter cartridges changed on schedule (cartridges billed at our cost)
- Water softener salt: up to 2 bags carried in and added each visit (if you have a softener)
We come out, find every filter in your home, record the exact sizes and your fridge model, and replace up to 2 standard 1" filters. Then pick a plan, or don't. There's no obligation.
Good to know
- Prepay for a year and save 10%: pay for your next 4 visits up front.
- Extra filters beyond your plan: $25 each for standard filters, $35 each for thick 4–5" filters.
- Allergy upgrade to MERV 13 filters, where your system supports them: +$15 per visit.
- Brand-name fridge filter instead of an NSF-certified equivalent: +$35 when it's replaced.
- Dryer vent duct cleaning: $129 (vents we can reach from the ground or a short ladder; no roof vents).
- 10-year sealed alarms, supplied and installed: $45 smoke, $65 smoke + CO (battery-powered alarms only).
- More bulbs: $5 per bulb beyond the 3 included each visit.
- Air purifier & under-sink/RO filters not in your plan: our cost + $15 per filter.
- Honest schedules: fridge filters, thick filters, and batteries are replaced when they're actually due, not every visit.
A Year of Visits
Each season we add the jobs that matter most at that time of year, so visits stay short and nothing gets forgotten.
Air filters that are due, and return vents vacuumed and wiped. On Pure Home and Total Care, we also test your smoke and CO alarms and change up to 3 hard-to-reach light bulbs.

We only serve the Fort Hunt corridor, so we can visit neighbors on the same day and stay on time. We serve single-family homes in ZIP 22308 & 22307.
Why "Fort Hunt Filters"?
The land along the Potomac that became Fort Hunt was once part of George Washington's River Farm. Construction of its coastal gun batteries, including Battery Mount Vernon, began in 1897 to help defend the nation's capital.
